Abe, your post of the SF Bay Guardian’s Cindy Sherman retrospective reminded me not of drag queens’, but of Kroger brand Crunchy Cheese Curls. I. Am. Obsessed!!! Yes, I LOVE drag queens! Yes, I LOVE Cheetos! I LOVE the Kroger brand cheese crunchies more! I bought a bag of the Cheetos brand and felt I was slumming. I feel Chester Cheetah would jump ship on Cheetos if he ever tasted the Kroger brand. My local store has been out for almost a week of their delicious store brand & I am dying. Yes, dying, with out my fix of that awesome cheesy, crunchy goodness (that almost makes me sick while eating) of that simple store brand knock off. Maybe I have replaced one ‘vice’ for another, you know what I’m talking ‘bout. I gotta getta fix some how and it seems to be with cheese crunchies.
